1. Bookings & confirmations
Engagements begin with a written scope and investment proposal. Dates, facilitators, and resources are secured once the proposal is approved and a 40% retainer is received.
2. Residency participation
Guests agree to follow residency schedules, safety guidelines, and community etiquette. Lotus World may request wellness notes to ensure accommodations align with participant needs.
3. Design projects
Design retainers cover research, sensory direction, and concept development. Additional site visits, procurement, or installation support are billed separately at rates quoted in your project roadmap.
4. Payment structure
- 40% retainer to initiate planning or design work.
- 40% milestone payment midway through production or installation.
- 20% balance prior to handover, event commencement, or asset release.
- Invoices are due within seven days; late payments may pause delivery and accrue a 2% monthly service fee.
5. Changes & postponements
Retainers are non-refundable but transferable to a new date within six months, subject to availability. Postponements within 21 days of execution will be charged for confirmed vendors, travel, and material costs.
6. Liability & conduct
Lotus World is not liable for delays caused by factors outside our control (weather, transport, government advisories). Guests are responsible for personal belongings and for conduct that maintains physical and emotional safety of fellow participants.
7. Governance
These terms are governed by Indian law with jurisdiction in Hyderabad, Telangana. Updates will be published with a revised effective date. For clarifications contact info@lotusworld.shop.
